The tasks of the ASF office in Berlin include the admissions, preparation and follow-up seminars for long-term volunteers, the organization of international summer camps, the coordination of honorary staff, public relations work, financial and donation management and maintaining the many contacts with donors, churches and politicians.

Aktion Sühnezeichen Friedensdienste e.V. is a non-profit organization registered with the Berlin-Charlottenburg District Court with currently around 1330 members.
