One year in Germany or Poland – applicants from other countries

The ASF volunteer Evgeniia at the Sachsenhausen memorial near Berlin

With ASF you can volunteer for a year in various German cities: At one of our partner organizations, for example, you will accompany victims of Nazi persecution, support people with disabilities, or work at a memorial site – together as part of a group of almost 20 volunteers from different countries. Volunteers from Ukraine can also do voluntary service in Poland.

International volunteer program in Germany

Every year, approximately 20 volunteers from different countries get involved with ASF in Germany. Our partner organizations are memorials and archives, organizations that serve people with disabilities, the elderly, or refugees. The volunteer sites are located in various cities throughout the country.
