Conversation with a contemporary witness – Rozette Kats

At the beginning of June, the Münster regional group organised a discussion with Rozette Kats, who survived the Shoah as a Jewish child.

The event was very well received on site. Over 150 people attended and the lecture theatre at Münster University was filled to capacity and beyond. Together with Rozette, many questions were answered and insights gained. Talks like this always play a central role in the culture of remembrance, as they offer personal and authentic insights into historical events. They bring history to life and make it tangible for future generations. They help to raise awareness of the horrors and consequences of the past and thus promote a culture of remembrance and responsibility. We would like to thank Rozette for her valuable and ongoing work!
